Finished my January Doll!

I'm very excited to have completed January's project. It took me all month to do since it had to be interspersed with other necessary tasks -- I can see that this is how it's going to go all year. :) You can see a photo of the finished piece, a scan of the original sketch, and some technique notes at my web site, Fresh Monsters. It's great to be a part of this group -- I've been having so much fun looking at all your work.

Feel free to leave a comment when you drop by my blog. I'd love to know what you think.

Brava! She is a lovely doll/woman - someone it might be good to know. She seems a bit pensive and the headdress gives her an ancient Egyptian feel.
